MailConverter 2.1: Introduction
   

MailConverter is a utility which converts disparate mail and mail-like formats into sendmail format, suitable for use with Eudora or Z-Mail. It will also create and burst digests, and import a few kinds of nickname files. It can be used in conjunction with Eumorpha to import all supported formats into Claris Emailer.

MailConverter handles the following formats:

Claris Emailer filed mail (not the In Box or Out Box)

babyl/techmail mail files
America Online mail files
LeeMail mail files
Pine mail files (both Unix and Dos)
Elm mail files
MacEMail mail files and nickname folders
PopMail mail files
eWorld mail files
Windows Eudora mailboxes (even with DOS eol)
Ricemail mail files
TeleFinder mail files
Genie mail files
CompuServe mail files (limited support, text archives only)
cc:Mail mail files (limited support, text archives only)
vmsMail mail files (limited support, text archives only)
MSMail mail files (limited support, text archives only)
NewsWatcher save files
Gnus save files
NN save files
